Thanks Vardhan! Kudos on your decision to start working on robotics. While it is absolutly neccessary to learn advanced robotics from textbooks and professional courses, basic robotics is very easy to learn from DIY community. It is easy to learn all aspects (mechanical, electronic and coding) of the robot all by yourself, but I suggest you start with one component based on your interest. I myself started with the microcontroller part by learning Arduino. I will soon put up some tutorials on basic robotics (line follower, remote controlled robots, making robot parts etc). Meanwhile, just visit http://arduino.cc and check out the cool robotics projects robotists have done using arduino boards. You can also learn about various sensors (IR, LDR, Ultrasonic and force sensors) which are widely used in robotics.:) Good luck buddy!
Firstly Great job! and I want to start learning robotics from the basics, so can you suggest some publications (text books & sites).
